Two Python scripts to list and sort -lots of- slices in Resolume 7

Ok hear me out. This is a very specific Resolume thingy, but maybe someone will need this one day.

Recently I had to create a grid of 34x14 slices within Resolume. So lots of slices. This grid was made by copy/pasting a few slices then a larger group of slices then rows until the grid was done. But by doing so the created slices were not ordered numerically nor "correctly" ordered on the grid.

To gain order over this chaos I made two Python script that works on a XML advanced output file.

First script ask for a file name, a screen name, the number of slices in each length (here 32 x 14), and then rename each slice according to its X/Y coordinates (top left is 1, bottom right is last slice).

Second script ask for a file name and a screen name, then order all the XML <Slice> tags within this screen, only for the slices to appear ordered in the left side list.

I know the basics in some programing languages, but these scripts were made by chatGPT, I'm no real dev.
If you need to sort quite an amount of slices, these two scritps are the very specific tool to do the job.
